Propose a Bill
All users of the Website can submit a Bill even if they are not registered as a Resident.
Once a Bill is submitted, it is first moderated and then subjected to popular vote by the Residents of the World.
Residents receive a list of new Bills for their consideration by email every seven days. During the following week, Residents comment and discuss them with each other and vote for or against them.
If you are registered as a Resident of the World and your Bill is adopted, it will be written into the World's constitution and will bear your name. You will also earn 50 Lives and your notoriety will increase. If you are a Club member, you can submit your Bill through your Club. Your Club will then earn 500 Lives if your Bill is adopted and you still earn 50 Lives for yourself.
If you are not registered as a Resident of the World and your Bill is adopted, unfortunately you will not receive Lives or be named in the World's constitution.
To write a Bill, choose an explicit title and one of the themes and tags that are available. Please try to be clear and precise when writing your Bill.
You have to focus on one subject at a time. Try not to overpass 240 characters. If the text is unclear or the subject of the proposal is vague, the Bill will not be submitted for vote.
Resident of the World is a Participatory Democracy.
