This group is meant to support the rise of Deliberative democracy, in which citizens debate throughout the media, but do not take part in the decision-making process, which is not their job. Too many politicians support this populist idea, whereas it entails important risks, such as the end of representative democracy and the advent of direct democracy. Members of our group uphold the idea that citizens must be major actors of the political debate, but must leave the decisions and their enforcement to political professionnals, who were educated to do so.
